Somehow I managed to not read any of the Harry Potter novels because I did not want to follow the crowd so I ventured into a territory not as frequently journeyed and read Dreams of My Father and The Audacity of Hope. I got home from my mission and felt like the sixty year old when my brother attempted to introduce me to MySpace and FaceBook, I put my foot down and vowed that the day I joined either was the day my name would be found on LDSingles.com ~ in case you are now opening up that page to find me, don't!! I would never!! Yet, here I am only six months after my first 'blog invite' joining up ... where are my principles!?! I suppose in the same place that the validity of my 'never' has gone. Just look...

1. NEVER go to school in Utah ~ Utah State University
2. NEVER work for Grams again ~ Summer of 2002, Lake Forest 2006
3. NEVER go on a mission ~ Washington, Spokane Spanish Speaking
4. NEVER live in California ~ Aliso Viejo, CALIFORNIA
5. NEVER move back to Utah ~ OCTOBER!!

... that's enough! The great thing is that all of the canceled 'nevers' have led to the greatest moments of my life to date, so perhaps this blog and Utah are the next unexpected steps in this adventuresome life I'm attempting to lead.
